After an oil-and-filter change on your SsangYong Tivoli (2015–2022), the service / checkup reminder needs resetting so the countdown starts again. You can do it yourself from the dashboard User Settings menu — no tool needed.
Before You Start
- Do the oil and filter change first — resetting only clears the reminder.
Resetting the Service Indicator
- Press the ‘MENU’ button repeatedly until ‘User Settings’ appears.
- Select ‘Dashboard settings’.
- Select ‘Checkup alert’.
- Select ‘Engine oil and filter’.
- Press and hold the ‘ENTER’ button — the service interval is reset.
If the Reset Doesn’t Take
- Hold ENTER until the reminder clears.
- Make sure you selected ‘Engine oil and filter’ under Checkup alert.
