If the tyre-pressure warning has come on in your Abarth 595 / 695 (2008–2022) — the 312 — after you’ve adjusted the pressures or changed a wheel, you reset it from the dashboard SETUP menu. Here’s how.
When to Reset
- After checking or adjusting the tyre pressures.
- After changing wheels or tyres, or fitting winter wheels.
Resetting the System
- Set all four tyres to the correct cold pressures, then stop the vehicle.
- Turn the ignition key to the ‘MAR’ position (ignition on, engine off).
- Open ‘SETUP’, select ‘Tyre pressure monitoring’, then ‘Reset’.
- ‘RESET SAVED’ appears — the procedure is complete.
If a sensor has been renewed, the system also needs a calibration drive: drive about 20 minutes above 80 km/h (48 mph).
If the Warning Stays On
- Recheck every tyre — one below spec keeps the warning on.
- Confirm ‘RESET SAVED’ appeared.
- After a sensor change, complete the calibration drive.
- Still showing with correct pressures? A sensor may have a flat battery — look up the code on autodtcs.com.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I reset the tyre pressure light on an Abarth 595?
Set the pressures, ignition to MAR, then SETUP > Tyre pressure monitoring > Reset until ‘RESET SAVED’ shows.
Why won’t the warning clear?
Usually a tyre still below spec, or the reset wasn’t confirmed in the menu.
Do I need a tool?
No for a normal reset; a tool is only needed if a pressure sensor is replaced (then do the calibration drive).
What’s the calibration drive for?
After fitting new sensors, the 20-minute drive above 80 km/h lets the system learn them.
If the warning came on with other lights, decode the code on autodtcs.com.
