If your Veloster does not show a dedicated service menu, the alternative is to display the odometer, switch the ignition off, then hold the trip reset button while switching the ignition back to ON (engine off) and keep holding until the reminder clears. Both methods reset the same mileage counter.

- Check the engine was off and the ignition merely ON; the menu reset will not stick with the engine running.
- Make sure you confirmed the reset prompt rather than just scrolling past it — the OK button must be held or pressed to accept.
- If the message returns after the next few starts, the interval may simply need re-entering; repeat the menu steps carefully.
- A steady amber engine light or a specific warning message is a stored fault, not the service reminder, and needs a scan tool to read and clear.
