These instructions apply to the Nissan Rogue Mk2 (T32) 2014-2020.

The 2014–2020 Nissan Rogue has a direct TPMS with a sensor in each wheel (the spare isn’t monitored). There is no button relearn to do at home — once the pressures are correct, the warning light clears on its own after a short drive. The Rogue also has Easy-Fill Tire Alert, which signals from outside the car while you inflate. This is the US-market procedure.
Clear the TPMS light
- Set all four tires to the correct cold pressure (see the table below). Cold means parked three hours or driven under a mile.
- Drive the Rogue at over 16 mph (25 km/h) for a few minutes. The system re-reads the sensors and the low-pressure light goes out.
- If the light flashes for about a minute at start-up and then stays on, a sensor isn’t being read (often after fitting the spare or a new wheel) — the sensor IDs need registering at a dealer.
Use Easy-Fill Tire Alert while inflating
- Park on level ground, apply the parking brake, shift to P, and switch the ignition ON (engine off).
- Start adding air. After a few seconds the hazard lights begin flashing.
- When the tire reaches the correct pressure the horn beeps once and the hazards stop. If you overfill by more than about 4 psi, the horn beeps and the hazards flash three times — bleed air until you get the single beep.
- Repeat for each tire. Don’t use Easy-Fill to set pressure right after a rotation — use a gauge.
Nissan Rogue tire pressures
Recommended cold pressures for the 2014–2020 Rogue by fitted tire size (your door-pillar placard is the final authority):
| Tire size | Front (cold) | Rear (cold) |
|---|---|---|
| 225/65R17 | 33 psi | 33 psi |
| 225/60R18 | 33 psi | 33 psi |
| Temporary spare (T-type) | 60 psi | 60 psi |
The 19-inch fitment uses the pressure shown on your door-pillar placard; the spare is temporary-use only at 60 psi.
FAQ
Is there a reset button?
No. Correct the cold pressures and drive above 16 mph — the light clears itself. There’s no owner button-relearn on the Rogue.
The light flashes then stays on.
That points to a sensor fault or an unregistered sensor (common after fitting the temporary spare). Registering sensor IDs needs a dealer or a TPMS tool.
Why did the light come back a few days later?
A tire is probably losing air slowly, or one was a little low when you set it. Re-check all four cold and re-inflate.
