- Only one counter cleared — the oil-change and inspection reminders are separate, so reset whichever is still showing.
- It’s a different symbol — that’s a fault, not the service timer, and the reset won’t clear it.
Once the Reset Is Done
Once confirmed, the service message disappears and the counter starts measuring toward the next interval from zero. On cars with the Virtual Cockpit you can open Settings → Service to see the distance and time remaining tick back up to the full interval. If the message clears and then returns at the next start-up, the confirmation didn’t register — simply repeat the procedure.
