If the key fob on your Haval H2 (2015–2021) has gone weak or the locking has become intermittent, the coin cell inside is almost certainly flat. It’s a quick swap with a CR2032.
Battery First — What You Need
- A CR2032 coin cell.
- A small flat screwdriver.
Replacing the Cell
- Remove the button-cell cover — ease it open with a screwdriver.
- Remove the old cell.
- Fit a new CR2032 with the positive side facing up.
- Refit the cover and check the remote locks and unlocks the car.
Lost Key or Adding a Spare
A cell swap keeps the existing coding. A lost or broken key can only be ordered and programmed by a dealer with a diagnostic tool — there’s no owner sequence.
If a Fresh Cell Doesn’t Help
- Check the orientation — the positive side faces up.
- Use the mechanical key blade to unlock the door in the meantime.
