These instructions apply to the Chevrolet Suburban (K2XX) 2015-2020.

The 2015–2020 Chevrolet Suburban (K2XX) has a direct TPMS sensor in each wheel. After a rotation you re-match the sensors to their corners in Tire Learning mode — this generation needs an inexpensive GM relearn tool. This is the US-market procedure.
- Set all four tires to the placard pressure (below), apply the parking brake, ignition ON (engine off).
- Scroll the DIC to the tire-pressure screen, hold the ✓ button (or trip stem ~5 s), confirm yes — the horn double-beeps, TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE shows, starting at the driver-front.
- Hold the relearn tool to the sidewall near the driver-front valve until the horn chirps.
- Carry on — passenger-front, passenger-rear, driver-rear. A final double-beep ends it; set all tires to the placard figure.
Two minutes for the first wheel, five overall, or restart Tire Learning.
Chevrolet Suburban tire pressures (cold)
Pressures are set by fitted size and printed on the Tire and Loading Information label on the driver-side center (B) pillar — the authority for your vehicle. The common figure on these full-size SUVs is:
| Tire size | Front & rear (cold) |
|---|---|
| P265/70R17, P265/65R18 | 35 psi |
| P275/55R20 | 35 psi |
Set them cold and match your placard — a fully loaded Suburban with a trailer may call for a higher rear figure, which the placard lists.
FAQ
Can I use the key-fob method?
No — that only works on the older GMT900 Suburban. The K2XX needs a GM-compatible relearn tool (about $15).
What’s the wheel order?
Driver-front, passenger-front, passenger-rear, driver-rear.
Light stays on after the relearn?
Re-check cold pressures and repeat; a flat sensor battery needs replacing.
