How to Reset the 3008 Mk2 Service Indicator

- Nothing counted down: the button wasn’t held as the ignition came on — press and hold first, then switch the ignition on with the button still down.
- Don’t start the engine: you only want the ignition on. Starting up interrupts the sequence, so keep the engine off until the reset finishes.
- A separate warning light is on: that’s a fault, not the service timer — the service reset won’t clear a genuine fault code.
Once the Reset Is Done
When the countdown reaches ‘0’ and you release the button, the spanner symbol disappears and the counter restarts from the beginning of the next interval. Nothing else is affected — your settings and trip data (other than the counter used) stay as they were, and the car simply begins counting towards the next service.

Reset the indicator after every service, once the work has genuinely been done.
