When the spanner and a service message appear on your Citroën Berlingo Mk3 (K9, 2018–present), the maintenance counter has run down. You reset it with the trip-reset button on the dash — no garage tool needed. Do the oil and filter change first.
Reset After the Service Only
The counter just measures distance and time. Reset it once the work is done, or the next reminder will be wrong.
How to Reset the Berlingo Mk3 Service Indicator
- Turn the ignition off.
- Press and hold the trip-reset button (the button on the instrument panel you use to zero the trip).
- Keep it pressed and turn the ignition on.
- The spanner/maintenance symbol appears and a countdown begins — keep holding.
- When the display reaches ‘0’ and the spanner disappears, release the button. The system is reset.
If It Doesn’t Reset
- You released too early — hold until the countdown reaches 0 and the symbol clears.
- A different warning is lit — that’s a fault, not the service counter.
