To change the wiper blades on your Lynk & Co 01 (2017–2024), the arms first need to be lifted into their service position. You activate it from the central display so the wipers move clear of the bonnet.
Before You Start
- Make sure the bonnet is closed — the arms swing up high.
- The vehicle should be stationary, wipers off, and the engine off.
Moving the Wipers to Service Position
- On the central display, scroll to ‘Settings’.
- Select ‘CAR’ and find the wiper/service section.
- Activate service mode — the wipers move up clear of the bonnet.
- Lift the arms and swap the blades.
Returning to Normal
After fitting the new blades, lower the arms back onto the glass, then exit service mode (or operate the wipers) so they return to the park position.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I put the Lynk & Co 01 wipers in service position?
Car stopped and wipers/engine off, then Settings > CAR > activate wiper service mode on the display.
Why can’t I just lift the arms?
Parked under the bonnet lip they won’t lift far enough — service mode raises them and protects the linkage.
Do I need a tool?
No — it’s a display setting.
How do I cancel it?
Exit service mode on the display, or operate the wipers to return them to park.
If a wiper fault appears afterwards, look up the code on autodtcs.com.
