The Alpina B5 / D5 is a luxury super-saloon, a thoroughly re-engineered BMW 5 Series with bespoke power, chassis tuning and trademark refinement. Sharing much of its electronic architecture with BMW, it tracks service intervals through onboard counters that must be reset once maintenance is finished. The oil service reset follows an oil change, while you may also clear a general service reminder, run a TPMS reset after correcting tyre pressures, or reset the brake pad wear indicator when new pads go on.
