The first-generation Suzuki SX4 (EY/RW, 2006–2014) keeps its owner maintenance resets simple. There is no electronic service-interval indicator to clear on this generation, and European cars from before the 2014 EU mandate have no tyre-pressure monitoring reset. The procedures that do apply — safely disconnecting and reconnecting the 12 volt battery, replacing the remote-key cell, re-initialising the driver’s one-touch window on European cars and programming a spare remote — are covered below, with the US and European differences noted on each page.
