When the maintenance / service reminder appears on your Lexus NX (2014–2021), you can clear it yourself after an oil or scheduled service straight from the dashboard menu — no dealer and no diagnostic tool. It’s the same on the NX 300h hybrid and the 200t/300 petrol. Here’s how.
Before You Start
Reset the reminder only after the service has actually been carried out. You’ll use the instrument-cluster menu, switched on but with the engine (or hybrid system) not running.
Resetting the Service Indicator
- Switch the ignition on — press START once without your foot on the brake so the system powers up but doesn’t start. (Do not enter READY on the hybrid.)
