These instructions apply to the Subaru XV Mk2 (GT) 2017-2022. For other models, please choose your vehicle here.

Last updated: June 10, 2026

After an oil change or service on your Subaru XV (2017–2022) — the GT — you can clear the maintenance reminder yourself through the instrument-cluster INFO menu. No diagnostic tool needed.

Before You Start

Only reset after the service is done. You’ll use the ‘INFO’ and scroll/SET buttons on the steering wheel.

Resetting the Maintenance Reminder

  1. Switch the ignition on (engine off).
  2. Press ‘INFO’ repeatedly until the display prompts ‘Push and hold the INFO button for selection screen’, then hold ‘INFO’.
  3. Scroll to ‘MAINTENANCE’ and press ‘SET’.
  4. Select ‘Maintenance schedule’, then clear / set the next interval and confirm — the reminder is reset.

If the Reminder Won’t Clear

  • Stay in ignition-on, engine off.
  • Hold INFO at the prompt to reach the selection screen.
  • Confirm the clear/interval when asked.
  • A separate warning light? A fault stores a code — look it up on autodtcs.com.
