Reset the Oil Service Indicator

These instructions apply to the Suzuki Swift AZG/AZH (2010 - 2017). For other models, please choose your vehicle here.

The oil service indicator in the Suzuki Swift is designed to remind you when routine maintenance is due. After completing an oil change or scheduled service, you can reset the reminder using one of two manual methods.

Method 1: Reset via Menu

  1. Switch the ignition ON.

  2. Press the dashboard button repeatedly until RANGE appears on the display.

  3. Press and hold the button for about 3 seconds, then release.

  4. Turn the button clockwise and select OCI.

  5. Press the button to confirm.

  6. Select RESET and press the button again.

  7. The word SUCCESS will appear on the display, confirming the reset.

Method 2: Quick Reset

  1. Wait until OIL appears on the display.

  2. Switch the ignition ON.

  3. Press and hold the button until the oil warning light begins to flash.

  4. Release the button – the reset is complete.

⚠️ Tip: Always perform the reset only after servicing the vehicle to maintain accurate oil change intervals.
