These instructions apply to the Toyota Camry Mk7 (XV50) 2012-2017.
For other models, please choose your vehicle here.
The 2012–2017 Toyota Camry uses a direct tire-pressure system with a sensor in each wheel. There is no owner reset button — correct the pressures and the light clears on its own.
- Set all four tires to the pressure on the driver’s door-jamb placard (35 psi for the 16- and 17-inch wheels; 33 psi for the 18-inch).
- Drive for a few minutes — the warning light goes out once the system reads the corrected pressures.
- If the light keeps flashing after driving, a sensor ID may need registering; that is a dealer job on this generation.
Recommended cold tire pressures
These cold pressures come from the vehicle placard; the compact spare takes 60 psi. The Hybrid is not offered with the 18-inch wheel.
| Tire size | Front | Rear | Spare |
|---|---|---|---|
| 205/65R16 | 35 psi | 35 psi | 60 psi |
| 215/55R17 | 35 psi | 35 psi | 60 psi |
| 225/45R18 (gas only) | 33 psi | 33 psi | 60 psi |
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I reset the Camry tire-pressure light?
There is no button — set every tire to the placard pressure and drive a few minutes; the direct system clears the light automatically.
What tire pressure should a 2012–2017 Camry run?
35 psi front and rear on the 16- and 17-inch wheels, and 33 psi on the 18-inch; the compact spare takes 60 psi.
Why is the TPMS light still on after filling the tires?
It can take a few minutes of driving to clear. If it blinks instead, a sensor may be faulty or need registering by a dealer.
