Home/Suzuki/Swift/AZG/AZH (2010 - 2017)/Initialize the Electric Sunroof

Initialize the Electric Sunroof

These instructions apply to the Suzuki Swift AZG/AZH (2010 - 2017). For other models, please choose your vehicle here.

If the battery has been disconnected or replaced, the electric sliding/tilting roof in the Suzuki Swift may lose its memory. To restore normal operation, the sunroof must be re-initialized.

Initialization Procedure

  1. Switch the ignition ON.

  2. Push the sunroof switch upwards to the maximum tilt position.

  3. Hold the switch for about 15 seconds.

  4. Release the switch.

  5. Press the switch again.

    • The roof will go through the following sequence:
Tilt Down → Slide Open → Slide Close

  6. Keep holding the switch until the roof is fully closed.

  7. Check that the sunroof operates normally.

⚠️ Tip: Make sure the battery is fully charged before performing this procedure, as low voltage can interrupt the initialization process.
