Replace the wiper blades on the Hyundai i10 (2008-2013) when they smear or skip. The front blades use a plastic locking clip; the rear blade pulls straight off its arm.
Replace the wiper blades
- Lift the front wiper arm off the glass and turn the blade until the plastic locking clip is exposed.
- Squeeze the clip and slide the blade assembly down the arm, then lift it off.
- Slide the new blade on in the reverse order until the clip snaps home, and lower the arm gently onto the glass.
- For the rear blade, raise the arm and pull the old blade straight out of the hook.
- Push the new rear blade in by its center until it clicks, then tug it lightly to check it is locked.
Do not let a bare wiper arm snap back onto the windshield − it can chip or crack the glass.
