Specifications

Reviewed by the Service Reset editor · Updated October 8, 2026 · How we verify

These instructions apply to the Suzuki Vitara Mk4 (LY) 2015-2024.
For other models, please choose your vehicle here.

Verified specifications for the fourth-generation Suzuki Vitara (chassis LY, 2015–2024) across its full engine range — the 1.6 petrol and diesel, the 1.0 and 1.4 Boosterjet turbos, the 1.4 48V mild hybrid, and the 1.5 full hybrid. Figures come from the Suzuki owner’s manual and the vehicle’s own technical data.

Each column is one specific vehicle — a single engine or motor and, where shown, body style. Dimensions and several weights are specific to that body and drivetrain; other body or powertrain versions differ, so match the column to your own vehicle.

Suzuki Vitara LY tire-pressure placard on the driver's door pillar
The tire-pressure placard on a Vitara (LY) door pillar – the Comfort, Eco and full-load columns for the 215/60 R16 and 215/55 R17 tires. Set pressures cold.

  • Fully loaded: front 2.4 bar (35 psi), rear 2.8 bar (41 psi).
  • Eco setting (petrol models, for best economy): front 2.8 bar (41 psi), rear 2.6 bar (38 psi).
  • Space-saver spare (T135/90 D16): 4.2 bar (60 psi).

Always set pressures cold, and check the placard on your own car’s driver-side door pillar to confirm.
