These instructions apply to the Toyota Tacoma Mk2 (N200) 2005-2015.
For other models, please choose your vehicle here.
The 2005–2015 Toyota Tacoma (N200) uses a direct TPMS with a sensor in each wheel. After a tire rotation or a pressure change you re-initialize it yourself with the TPMS reset switch — no scan tool needed. This is the US-market procedure.
- Park and set all four tires to the correct cold pressure (see the table below).
- Turn the ignition to ON (engine off).
- Press and hold the tire-pressure reset switch (on the lower dash) until the TPMS warning light blinks slowly three times.
- Drive at about 25 mph (40 km/h) or more for ~10 minutes so the system learns each wheel. The per-wheel pressures then display.
Toyota Tacoma tire pressures (cold)
By fitted tire size — your driver-door placard is the final authority:

| P245/75R16 | 30 psi | 30 psi |
| P265/70R16 | 29 psi | 32 psi |
| P265/65R17 | 29 psi | 29 psi |
| P255/45R18 | 35 psi | 35 psi |

FAQ
Where is the reset switch?
Low on the dash, usually below the steering wheel. Hold it with the ignition ON until the TPMS light blinks three times.
Do I need a tool?
No tool to re-initialize after a rotation or pressure change. Fitting brand-new sensors, though, needs their ID codes registered at a Toyota dealer.
The light stayed on.
Re-check all four cold pressures against the placard and repeat, then drive above 25 mph for about ten minutes. A dead sensor battery will need replacing.
Why do front and rear differ on some sizes?
Toyota sets them per fitment — follow the exact figures on your door placard for your tire size.
