These instructions apply to the Vauxhall Vivaro Mk2 (B) 2014-2019.

The Vauxhall Vivaro (2014–2019) watches your tyre pressures and warns when one drops. After you’ve adjusted the pressures or changed a wheel or tyre, the system needs telling the current pressures are the new reference — a quick dashboard reset.
The Vivaro B (2014–2019) is the second-generation Vauxhall/Opel Vivaro and the last one based on the Renault Trafic — long one of the UK’s best-selling medium vans. The 2019-on Vivaro C is a different, PSA-based van.
Set the Pressures First
Inflate the tyres to the correct pressures cold before resetting — the reset memorises whatever’s in the tyres as the target. The figures are on the label in the driver’s door aperture and differ unladen vs fully loaded.
Reset the Tyre Pressure Warning
- With the van stopped, turn the ignition on.
- Scroll the dashboard menu to ‘Tyre pressure’ (on some vans via the ‘Vehicle’ menu first).
- Press and hold the OK/reset button for at least 3 seconds until a confirmation shows.
- Drive the van to relearn and complete the reset.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Vivaro B the same as the newer Vivaro?
No. The Vivaro B (2014–2019) shares the Renault Trafic platform, so these guides apply to it and its NV300 and Talento siblings. The 2019-on Vivaro C moved to the PSA/Stellantis platform and is a different van with different procedures.
How do I reset the tyre pressure light on a Vauxhall Vivaro?
Ignition on, select ‘Tyre pressure’, hold OK for about three seconds until it confirms, then drive. Set the correct cold pressures first.
Why won’t the warning go off?
Either a tyre is genuinely low — check and inflate all of them — or the system wasn’t reset after the last adjustment.
Do I reset after fitting the spare?
Yes — any wheel or tyre change means resetting the reference once the correct pressures are set.
Is it the same as a Renault Trafic?
Yes — as the Renault Trafic-based Vivaro B it uses the same dashboard system, so the reset is identical across the Renault Trafic, Fiat Talento and Nissan NV300.
