These instructions apply to the Honda Civic Mk8 (FA/FG/FD) 2006-2011.

The 2006–2011 Honda Civic has a direct TPMS with a sensor in each wheel. There is no owner relearn or reset button — you clear a low-pressure warning by correcting the cold pressures. This is the US-market procedure.
Clear the warning
- Set all four tires to the correct cold pressure (table below).
- Drive a short distance — once the sensors read correct pressure, the low-tire light goes out.
- If a TPMS fault indicator stays on (not a low tire), the system needs a dealer check — there’s no home relearn on this Civic.
Honda Civic tire pressures (cold)
| Tire size | Front | Rear |
|---|---|---|
| P195/65R15 (DX) | 30 psi | 30 psi |
| P205/55R16 (LX, EX, EX-L) | 32 psi | 32 psi |
| P215/45R17 (Si) | 33 psi | 33 psi |
| Compact spare | 60 psi | 60 psi |
FAQ
Is there a TPMS reset button?
No — correct the cold pressures and drive; the light clears itself. There’s no owner calibration on this generation.
The light stays on at correct pressure.
That points to a sensor fault (often a flat sensor battery) — a dealer or TPMS shop can diagnose it.
Where’s the placard?
On the driver’s doorjamb; follow it if your tire size isn’t in the table.
If your Civic stores a fault code with the warning light, look it up on autodtcs.com.
