The second-generation Honda Insight (ZE2, 2009-2014) is a 1.3 i-VTEC IMA hybrid with a CVT. These owner guides cover the DIY jobs it responds to without a diagnostic tool: clearing the Maintenance Minder oil-life reminder, safely disconnecting the 12 V battery (the high-voltage IMA system is separate and must not be touched), releasing the CVT shift-lock when the car has no power, re-initialising the power windows and locating the OBD-II socket.
