Skoda Octavia Mk3 (5E) 2013-2020

The third-generation Skoda Octavia Mk3 (5E) (2013–2020) moved onto the VW Group MQB platform, offering vast hatchback and estate space alongside efficient TSI and TDI engines. With its VAG electronics, several systems expect resetting after maintenance. The oil service reset and the separate long-life inspection counter are cleared through the instrument cluster menu once fresh oil is in. Owners also perform a TPMS reset to set or relearn tyre pressures, a brake pad wear reset when the pads and sensor are renewed, and steering angle calibration after alignment work. A replacement 12V battery should be registered so the charging strategy adapts, and the electric windows may need re-initialising after a battery disconnect. Choose your Octavia’s service reset from the procedures listed directly below.
