Toyota’s fourth-generation Toyota RAV4 Mk4 (XA40) (2013–2018) grew into a sleeker, lower crossover offered with petrol, diesel and — from 2016 — a hybrid drivetrain. After a service its trip computer expects the maintenance reminder reset, the routine that turns off the “MAINT REQD” wrench once fresh oil and filter are in. Depending on spec you may also run a TPMS reset after adjusting or swapping tyres so the system relearns pressures, clear a brake pad wear warning following pad work, and perform a steering angle/zero-point calibration after suspension or alignment changes.
