After adjusting pressures, rotating wheels or fitting a spare on your Renault Kadjar (XFE, 2015–2022), you store the new values as the system’s reference. Renault calls it learning the tyre pressures — no tool required.
Set the Pressures First
Inflate all four tyres cold to the figures on the door-pillar / fuel-flap label. The reset only memorises whatever is in the tyres at the time, so get them right first.
Learning the Pressures
- Switch the ignition on (engine off is fine).
- Open the vehicle/tyre-pressure menu and select ‘Learning tyre pressure’ (some cars use a dedicated TPMS reset button).
- Press and hold to confirm — about 3 seconds — until it acknowledges.
- Drive normally; the system relearns and the light clears.
If the Light Stays On
- Check every tyre, including the spare if it’s sensored.
- Re-run the learn after any inflation change so the baseline matches.
- A genuinely low or punctured tyre will keep the warning on — inspect before resetting.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I reset the tyre pressure light on a Renault Kadjar?
Set all pressures correctly, then choose ‘Learning tyre pressure’ in the menu (or hold the TPMS button) and confirm.
Do I need a tool?
No — the Kadjar relearns the pressures itself via the menu or button.
Why did the light come on in cold weather?
Cold air drops pressure; top up to the label figure and re-learn.
It lit after swapping a wheel — normal?
Yes — run the learning routine so the new wheel becomes the reference.
