The Peugeot 308 Mk3 (P5, 2021–present) learns a reference set of tyre pressures, so after inflating or changing a tyre you re-initialise it from the i-Cockpit menu. Here’s how to clear the warning.
Inflate First
Set all four tyres cold to the door-pillar label figure, then store the new reference.
Resetting via the Menu
- Park the car and switch the ignition on.
- Press ‘MENU’ and open ‘Driving’ (driving assistance).
- Choose ‘Under-inflation initialisation’, then ‘YES’.
- The current pressures are stored as the new reference and the warning clears.
Light Won’t Clear?
- Check every tyre — one odd corner keeps the warning on.
- Re-initialise after any inflation or wheel change so the baseline matches.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I reset the tyre pressure light on a Peugeot 308?
Ignition on, then MENU → Driving → Under-inflation initialisation → YES.
Any tool needed?
No — the 308 stores the reference itself.
Why does it trigger in the cold?
Cold air lowers pressure; top up and re-initialise.
It lit after a wheel swap — normal?
Yes — re-run the initialisation so the new pressures become the baseline.
