If the IntelliLink touchscreen in your Vauxhall Corsa E (2014–2019) freezes, goes black or loses Bluetooth, a forced restart usually fixes it. It keeps your radio presets and settings.
How to reset the IntelliLink screen on a Corsa E
- Switch the ignition on.
- Press and hold the Home button and the skip-forward (next track) button together for about 10 seconds.
- Keep holding until the screen powers off and the Vauxhall/IntelliLink logo reappears, then release.
- Let it boot fully before using it.
If it still plays up, lock the car and leave it for a few minutes until the system sleeps, then reopen. A screen that keeps locking up may need a software update at a dealer.
Frequently asked questions
Will resetting IntelliLink delete my presets?
No — a restart keeps your presets and paired phones. Only choosing “restore factory settings” in the menu clears those.
The screen froze but the car drives fine — is that OK?
Yes, it’s an infotainment glitch, not a drivetrain issue. Reboot it as above.
If a warning light appears with the fault, you can look up the code on autodtcs.com.
