The eighth-generation Accord uses conventional hook-fitting wiper blades that clip off and on in a minute. The front blades are different lengths left and right, so check each one as you remove it.

How to replace the wiper blades on a Honda Accord (2008–2015)
- Lift the wiper arm away from the glass until it stays up on its own.
- Turn the blade so it sits across the arm, and press the release tab at the hook.
- Slide the old blade down off the J-hook and unhook it.
- Clip the new blade onto the hook until it clicks, then lower the arm gently back onto the glass.
- Repeat for the other side, and for the tailgate wiper on the Tourer.
The front blades are typically 650 mm on the driver’s side and 450 mm on the passenger’s side. Sizes can vary slightly by body and build, so confirm against the length marked on your old blade before buying — and note the Tourer’s separate rear blade length too.
Support the raised arm so it cannot spring back onto bare glass while the blade is off; a dropped bare arm chips the windshield.
Frequently asked questions
What size wipers does the Accord take?
Front blades are around 650 mm (driver) and 450 mm (passenger). The Tourer adds a shorter rear blade. Always verify the size on the blade you are removing, as it varies a little by body style and market.
How do I get the old blade off?
Lift the arm, turn the blade across it, press the release tab at the J-hook, and slide the blade down and off. The new one clips straight on until it clicks.
How often should wiper blades be replaced?
Usually once a year, or sooner if they smear, chatter or leave streaks. Rubber hardens with sun and age even if the car covers few miles.
