Mazda 6e Mk1 2025-Present

The Mazda 6e is Mazda’s first global battery-electric car: a rear-wheel-drive liftback launched in Europe in 2025, built in China on Changan’s EV platform (closely related to the Changan Deepal / EZ-6) and sold under the Mazda badge. Two versions are offered. The Standard Range pairs a 68.8 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery with a 190 kW (258 hp) rear motor for up to 479 km WLTP; the Long Range uses an 80 kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) battery and a 180 kW (245 hp) motor for up to 552 km WLTP. Both drive the rear wheels, charge through a CCS Combo 2 port, and come with a heat pump and vehicle-to-load (V2L) power output. Because the 6e is a pure EV there is no engine oil, spark-plug or timing-belt service; the guides below cover the owner jobs that do apply – full specifications, charging and range, the 12-volt battery and jump-starting, and tyre pressures with the direct TPMS.
