The Dacia Sandero (Mk3 / DJF, 2021–present) resets its service reminder from the instrument-cluster buttons — no tools needed. There are two separate resets: the oil service and the longer maintenance service. Do the actual work first; only reset the oil item after an oil change.

Oil Service Reset

  1. Switch the ignition on but do not start the engine.
  2. Press the cluster scroll button (1) repeatedly until “Mileage before oil service” is shown.
  3. Press and hold button (2) for 5 seconds — the remaining distance to the next service appears.
  4. Press and hold button (2) for 10 seconds.
  5. Switch the ignition off. The oil service is reset.

Maintenance Service Reset

  1. Switch the ignition on (engine off).
  2. Scroll with button (1) until “Mileage before service” is shown.
  3. Press and hold button (2) for 5 seconds, then press and hold it again for 10 seconds.
  4. Switch the ignition off. The maintenance service is reset.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between the two resets?

“Oil service” tracks the shorter oil-change interval; “maintenance service” tracks the longer full-service interval. Reset only the one(s) you’ve actually carried out.

Does resetting the light service the car?

No — it only clears the reminder and restarts the counter. Change the oil and filter first, then reset the oil item.

Do I need a scan tool?

No — both resets are done from the dashboard buttons on the Mk3 Sandero.
