Chrysler 300 Mk1 (LX) 2004-2011

The first-generation Chrysler 300 Mk1 (LX) (2004–2011) was the bold, rear-drive American saloon — built on Mercedes-derived underpinnings and crowned by the muscular 300C with its HEMI V8. Service it and its electronics expect a few resets. The oil service reset clears the change-oil reminder through the instrument cluster after fresh oil and a filter. Where fitted, a TPMS reset relearns tyre pressures after a rotation, and new brake pads call for the wear warning to be cleared. A steering angle calibration follows alignment or suspension work, and disconnecting the large 12V battery resets the clock, radio and memory settings. Choose the reset routine that matches your 300 from the procedure list shown directly below.
